Join Loves Park Scuba Dive Charters aboard the Lockwood Explorer to explore the exciting shipwrecks of Lake Michigan. Charters run spring through fall and depart Milwaukee or Racine (depending on the wrecks explored that day). The Lockwood Explorer is a 26' former Coast Guard aluminum hulled boat which has a maximum speed of 43mph (which means less time traveling to the dive sites). She can accommodate up to 6 divers and 2 crew members. Captain Dan Johnson has been diving since 1973 and is a US Coast Guard licensed captain. He has extensive experience in shipwreck diving and discovered two shipwrecks, the Kate Kelly and the Lumberman, off of Racine (Wind Point) in the early 1980's. |
