Excellent Instructors!!! I was uncomfortable with the open water dive. The instructors helped me through my fears, and helped me to overcome my anxieties. Chris did an extraordinary job at tending to my niece and I's struggles. The SDI certification was very enjoyable because of Chris, Dan, Ben, and Joe. I look forward to diving with them in the future. My niece, Anna (she's 11 years_old) was really excited to explore the deeper waters. Thanks to the knowledge gained through Loves Park Scuba, I felt comfortable with Anna's scuba knowledge deep under the water. We dove 27' down in pearl lake, and explored the treasures (school bus, boats, cars...).I highly recommend Loves Park Scuba over any place in the Rockford area.Type your paragraph here.

My 20 year old son and I decided to get certified this summer. Dan and his team at Loves Park Scuba were GREAT! The classes were excellent, the pool sessions were great, and the open water dives were awesome. Loves Park Scuba worked with me regarding scheduling due to my work demands; worked with all levels of students; gave students time to get comfortable with the skills; and overall made this a great experience. My son and I are looking forward to joining Loves Park Scuba's dive trips, advancing our training, and enjoying this sport. You will not find a better experience! The price was more than excellent, the expertise of Dan and his Loves Park Scuba team was very high, great instruction, great equipment....you won't find a better place to get certified!

This was the best 4 days of my life. I have never seen a more intelligent helpful group of people. Scuba diving with them made it just that much more fun. I would have never got my scuba certification if it weren't for these people. Thank you so much.
Absolutely LOVE this place. The staff here is wonderful very nice people. Made sure we understood everything. My training instructor was Tom and he went above and beyond going out of his way to make sure I knew what I was doing and that I was comfortable doing all of the skills in the water. I appreciate all of the help and hard work this team puts into helping their students get all of the proper information needed to dive. I highly recommend them. = )
My 10y/o son and I just went through the weekend open water dive classes and loved it. As we were both beginners, Dan was very accommodating and patient, yet firm with my son to verify his abilities. He made my son redo a few skills until he had them perfected so he would be safe in the water. Weekend class times were very convenient to a hectic lifestyle. Loved doing the pool work on site. Good location in Loves Park. Easily accessible from everywhere. Pearl Lake was great location for open water dives, not to mention the great cookout at the end of the last dive on Sunday. Stop saying that scuba is something you would like to try and just do it at Loves Park Scuba. You won't regret it!
My wife and I just got our Open Water Scuba Certification at Loves Park Scuba. They were very accommodating to my work schedule allowing us to come in during two different sessions so that we could complete the course. They have a pool onsite, which is very convenient. Also, most of the class time was spent in the water getting hands on experience with the equipment and learning the scuba skills as a main focus. We felt very prepared to go on our open water dives in Pearl Lake. The lake is cool, lots of sunken things to look at and swim through.
This weekend Both of my children completed their Advanced Open Water certification training, along with a refresher class in between. When they were 12, they were certified as Basic Open Water Divers at Loves Park. I am a PADI Divemaster and have been diving for 30 years. for Loves Park Scuba is the most professional and cost effective scuba training facility in Illinois. The staff is friendly. The instructors are knowledgable, patient and thorough. I live in Chicago and the 80 minute drive to Loves Park is more than offset by the convenience of their in-store pool and very close proximity to Pearl Lake, which is a fantastic, organized and very safe dive lake. The cost for the courses is also cheaper than anything you will find in Chicago.
We had a group of 5 and we all had a great time getting certified. The classroom work wasn't too difficult or time consuming and we spent most of our class time in the water, which was helpful to really learn the skills we completed during the certification dives. Pearl Lake, where the certification dives were, was very interesting and we got to see some cool things while we were diving there as part of the class. It was also a great deal with the 2 for 1 special that was going on when we signed up. Overall, it was a convenient, reasonable, affordable way to get certified for anyone in northern Chicagoland or southern Wisconsin.
